Vera Doss was born and raised in Xaxli’p and was part of the Health Department team for many years until in December 2008 when she became the Xaxli’p First Nations Receptionist and Health Receptionist combined which employ more than 20+ staff members. She enjoys greeting people as you enter Xaxli’p Administration. Along with Vera’s job, she is a Xaxli’p Volunteer Fire Fighter, which she has been since 2005 and loves every minute of it. With being the only female in the Fire Department it gives her a sense of great pride to pull together as a team for the safety of our community
